We've been told that we're obsessed with SharePointGood... we're glad that our obsession is obvious!  Because who wants to work with a team that isn't going to put everything they've got into ensuring that you are successful?

The B&R team is one of the most experienced anywhere.  Every day, we're talking SharePoint - and we never get tired of it.  The work we do holds the enormous potential to change the very foundations of how our clients communicate and collaborate, and we take our responsibility to provide you with the best solution possible seriously.  By selecting B&R for your SharePoint needs, you partner with a team that is driven by success - success that we want to make yours.

It is rare to find a team with such true dedication:

  • Thomas Daly, MCTS
    Solutions Developer & Branding Expert
A Swiss Army knife of SharePoint solutions, he's also a ninja of branding.
When Tom joined B&R many years ago, he expected to work within the realm of SharePoint development, but never expected to be working on and enjoying SharePoint branding & UI customizations.  Tom is overflowing with technical know-how, probably because he has a BS in Computer Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, an MS in Software Engineering from Monmouth University, and prior to joining B&R, he worked for the US Department of Defense in their Software Engineering Center.  At B&R Tom focuses primarily on the implementation of highly customized user interfaces for clients, ensuring that their very unique branding requirements are met and that 'SharePoint doesn't look like SharePoint.'  When not working, Tom is a bit insane and runs half marathons, plays both the guitar and drums (the real instruments, not Rock Band-style), and also plays soccer.
  • Jason Medero, MCT, MCTS
    Managing Partner & Senior Architect
If Jason had a degree in architecture, he would have been known as the next Frank Lloyd Wright.  Luckily for us, his degree is in computer science, and his speciality is SharePoint-based systems & information architecture along with upgrades & migrations.  Jay is a speaker at SharePoint user groups and conference across the United States, also a coauthor on the Definitive Guide, and a coauthor on the two Real World SharePoint WROX titles.  Beyond SharePoint, you can find Jay in the mountains snowboarding, on the beach playing competitive beach volleyball, or battling in Starcraft II.
  • Christopher Regan, MCT, MCTS
    Managing Partner & Engagement Manager
Chris covers a wide-range of activities including engagement & project management, solutions architecture, SharePoint administration and support, technical writing, and on occassion (when the development team isn't looking) he'll even dabble in Visual Studio.  He is a co-author on the O'Reilly Definitive Guide book, a speaker on a variety of unique SharePoint topics, and contributor to the SharePoint community.  Chris is considered the odd-ball of the group, as he has a degree in Biology from The College of New Jersey, and prior to founding B&R, was considering pursuing a career in molecular genetics.  When not deep in SharePoint, he enjoys skiing and trips to the Jersey Shore (and is still waiting for his own MTV show), and pretends to know what he's doing on the golf course.
  • Ben Steinhauser
    Solutions Developer
When you needed it done yesterday, but also want it done right the first time, look no further.
Ben comes from an extensive background of building SharePoint and custom ASP.NET solutions for federal and state emergency management agencies. He has been a Senior Programmer for NJIT and Rutgers University, and started his own consulting business in 2006. He earned both a BS and MS in Computer Science from NJIT and is very close to completing an MBA as well. A big fan of .NET and SharePoint since 1.0, Ben is always eager to demonstrate his ability to take out of the box functionality and tailor it to specific business needs for his clients. When his nose isn't buried in a Microsoft reference book, or not trying to earn another degree, he finds time to enjoy some of his other passions like skiing, modding his Mazda, and riding motorcycles.
  • Tyler Insley, MCTS
    SharePoint Architect
He can build a SharePoint farm in his sleep.
When you need a farm built right - the first time - Tyler is the person everyone turns to.  Tyler provides solutions architecture, SharePoint administration and support services, and technical writing at B&R.  Prior to joining the team, he was employed by AvePoint, a leading provider of SharePoint solutions as a Technical Support Analyst.  He enjoys constantly learning and growing with the SharePoint Community and is working towards becoming a Microsoft Certified Architect.  When not deep in SharePoint, he takes solace in hiking, playing the guitar and spending time with his family.
  • Jake Dan Attis, MVP, MCTS
    Senior Solutions Developer
There is no enterprise application too complex, no requirements too abstract to stand in his way.
When it comes to patterns, practices, and governance with respect to SharePoint development, look no further than Dan.  You might mistake him as ex-military with his short hair and no-nonsense approach to solutions development, but don't let that fool you... he's a SharePoint geek like the rest of us.  A transplant to the Atlanta area from Moncton, Canada, Dan has a degree in Applied Mathematics, but is 100% hardcore SharePoint developer.  You can usually find Dan attending, speaking at, and organizing community events in the Atlanta area, including code camps, SharePoint Saturday, and the Atlanta SharePoint User Group.  When he's not working in Visual Studio, Dan enjoys spending time with his daughter Lily, watching hockey and football, and sampling beers of the world.
  • Joshua Carlisle, MCTS
    Senior Solutions Developer
A master at his craft, if he can't find a solution for it, then chances are that it just cannot be done.
Remember when you were in elementary school and there was always that one kid in class that had an answer to everything?  Well when it comes to unique, out of the box thinking about SharePoint solutions, Josh is the person who can always find an answer.  A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Josh has been developing using Microsoft tools for over 14 years and  heads up the B&R North Carolina office.  In his current role, he works with clients to design, architect, and implement SharePoint-based enterprise & commerical solutions.  Josh is a co-founder of the Triangle SharePoint User Group, frequent speaker at SharePoint Saturdays, user groups & code camps, and heads up the SharePoint Smart 404 feature development on CodePlex.  When he can pull himself away from his computer, you can find him hiking, camping and spending time with his two children.
  • Nick Gallo
    Controller
When it comes to keeping the team in order, no one else has the skills.
It takes a special person to keep a group of SharePoint-obsessed geeks in order, and Nick is that person.  As a former accountant at a number of large firms including First Investors Bank and AIG Insurance, Nick has the skills, know-how, and patience to keep B&R running smoothly.  As the Controller, he is responsible for the accounting and financial activities of the company while also overseeing human resources, office management, and contract management.  When not using his two favorite applications - Excel & QuickBooks - Nick can be found surfing  at the Jersey Shore, playing volleyball, or snowboarding wherever there is snow.
