Business Development Manager

The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to grow a list of accounts through networking, cold calling, and targeted marketing events. Suitable candidates are hunters and must be able to develop persuasive approaches that convince potential clients to do business with B&R Business Solutions. 

Building strong client relationships is crucial in our business, so the Business Development Manager must be able to partner with the client to understand their needs, determine how we can best support them, and work with the delivery group to ensure the positive outcomes needed for a lasting relationship. In addition, the Business Development Manager needs to be able to develop strategic plans and communicate critical account and market information to leadership, helping the company to respond to changing markets. This requires a deep knowledge of the market, solutions, and our competition.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience selling consulting services and products in both the small-to-mid-market and enterprise spaces
  • Positive outlook, with a strong desire to win as a team
  • Ability to develop a strategic plan to achieve business goals
  • Ability to provide feedback to leadership on changing market conditions relating to demand and pricing
  • History of being able to successfully manage a quota in excess of $1.5m per year
  • Ability to work independently as needed

Desired to have:

  • Experience working for a Microsoft Partner organization
  • Experience with, or selling, Microsoft SharePoint, Office 365, Azure, or other related solutions / platforms

SharePoint Infrastructure Architect

The Infrastructure Architect will work with clients to design and deploy SharePoint environments that are optimized for their specific requirements and which follow both Microsoft and industry best practices. Suitable candidates are experienced in working with varying deployment scenarios including both traditional multi-server SharePoint server implementations as well as hybrid scenarios utilizing Office 365 and/or Microsoft Azure. Candidates should also be familiar with upgrade and migration options for clients moving from a previous version of SharePoint.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with SharePoint 2010/2013/2016
  • Understanding of best practices around sizing, architecture, and deployment
  • Deep knowledge and experience writing and executing PowerShell scripts
  • Deep knowledge of advanced deployment scenarios for SharePoint Server
  • Deep knowledge creating and executing platform migration plans
  • Working knowledge of supporting services like Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, and network security
  • Ability to work independently as needed

Desired to have:

  • 1-3 years of experience working with Office 365
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange
  • Working knowledge of Azure AD
  • Exposure to or experience with IaaS platforms like Microsoft Azure for hosting applications

Product Developer

The primary role of the Product Developer is to assist the product group in the development of B&R's product portfolio. Working alongside the Product Development Manager and Product Manager, the Product Developer will work to plan, design and develop both new and existing features, provide support for customer deployments, and assist with complex customer issues. Suitable candidates have a proven ability to meet commitments, have a working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies, and are willing, able, and eager to learn new and emerging technologies.

The Product Developer will deliver solutions that demonstrate their ability to understand and follow software development best practices, including an aptitude to develop custom code for enterprise systems and products, both greenfield and existing. The Product Developer will take part in the planning and design processes, and must be able to understand and translate business requirements to technical requirements—helping to ensure the selection of appropriate technologies.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant software development experience using the Microsoft technology stack
  • Experience working with and producing solutions developed with JavaScript, C#, HTML and CSS
  • Familiarity with modern software frameworks (ie: jQuery, Angular, etc.)
  • Familiarity working with a variety of back-end storage models, including SQL and NoSQL
  • Ability to think independently to identify and solve difficult software problems
  • Ability to efficiently collaborate and work with a remote team
  • Ability to work independently as needed

Desired to have:

  • Exposure to, and experience developing for IaaS and PaaS platforms like Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with using, customizing, and developing software on the SharePoint and Office365 platform

Lead Generation Specialist

The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the sales organization. The individual must be a motivated self-starter and able to cultivate new business relationships through inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, and any other relevant source.

The Lead Generation Specialist is expected to:

  • Identify and cultivate new business relationships with prospective clients.
  • Develop new business via communication through phone, email, and social media with prospective clients.
  • Educate prospective clients on our capabilities and services and work to understand what their business challenges are and how B&R Business Solutions is uniquely positioned to address those needs.
  • Provide feedback to the sales and senior leadership team on trends within the market and customer challenges to help us better position our solutions and overall marketing messages.
  • Work with the senior leadership to grow the sales pipeline and to consistently meet or exceed quarterly goals.
  • Manage contact and opportunity data within the CRM system and marketing tools to ensure that we have as much intelligence about the contacts, organizations, and sales opportunities as possible.
  • Actively review and manage opportunity, sales pipeline, and marketing activity reports.

Technical Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) to generate effective communication.
  • Experience with CRM software such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Salesforce.com.
  • Experience with and/or exposure to targeted email and social media marketing as a component of lead generation.
